La mañana de este martes 11 de enero, Caramelito Carrizo contó la noticia que jamás hubiera deseado expresar: a los 50 años, su hermano Martín había fallecido.
El baterista fue diagnosticado en 2017 con Esclerosis Lateral Amiotrófica (ELA), una enfermedad degenerativa que afecta al sistema nervioso central y que, hasta el momento, no tiene cura.
"Decime por favor por dónde sigo. Gracias queridos y queridas por tanto cariño, ayuda y apoyo incondicional. Le hicieron muy bien cada día. Infinitas gracias", compartió Caramelito.
"Martín falleció hoy 11 de enero a la madrugada. Su amor, su sonrisa, su música queda en nosotrxs para siempre", agregó junto a una foto de la infancia con su hermano.

Minutos más tarde, la conductora añadió otra imagen junto a Martín y continuó destrozada: "De arriba nos están cuidando".
En uno de los últimos mensajes que había publicado en sus redes sociales, el músico había contado el difícil presente que vivía debido a su cruda enfermedad.
"Hoy es mi Cumpleaños!!! La verdad pensé que no pasaba de Navidad pero acá estoy, estoy terminando de trazar un nuevo protocolo para seguir buscando mi cura definitiva. El 2022 me da muchas esperanzas!!! Sigo latiendo y respirando. Les dejo este video, a mi me encanta perdón el sonido esta grabado con una camarita de fotos!! Los amo y Feliz 2022".
